Farewell to Mirror Lake
It became abundantly clear (and confirmed with Rich’s nudging) that en route home, I needed to visit the place where Hubbard Brook joins the Pemigewasset. Here is HB juuust before it joins (past).
And here it is joining (present).
And here’s the Pemigewasset, newly merged with Hubbard Brook (future). As I drove away, I could palpably feel this shift in momentum and flow.
